Hi! I'm Jan Talen and I am excited to meet you!
I have been a marriage and family therapist for 35 years, and have been married and a mom for even more years than that!
Over the past several years I have become the busy grandma of 10 grandkids!
D.N.A for Fun comes from my love and appreciation for the joy and the work of being married well while parenting all the time!
It is not easy, it is not always fun. It is doable and richly satisfying when we stick together even when we are worlds apart. It is doable when we work patience, creativity and cooperation with others - our kids, our spouse or both!
I will encourage you, support you, explain ideas and application well, and give you tips on how to tweak communication so that you are heard and understood clearly and kindly.
